Management Team

Dolapo Popoola is a siemens-certified power distribution and renewable energy system specialist following a 15-year career span in the USA, UK, Germany, Poland Czech Republic and Nigeria. She joined the service of the Kaduna State Government in 2015 as Special Assistant on Energy, then later Senior Special Assistant on Energy to the Governor before being appointed Managing Director of KAPSCO in 2019. she has a technical expertise in the area of Power Distribution and Renewable Energy systems with an M.Sc. from the Berlin institute of Technology, Germany and a certificate in Power Distribution Systems from the Siemens Power Academy.

Ya’u Yunusa Tanko joined the Kaduna State Civil Service as Inspector of Taxes in 1989 and has over 20 years of experience as Director of Taxes, business premises registration and Project Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. He leads KAPSCO’s revenue-generation efforts and coordinates all commercial activities of the company. Ya’u is an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained both his first and master’s Degrees in Business Administration. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Mr. Christopher Gyubok holds a degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, 1986. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and has over 30 years of experience working as the director of finance and supplies and Internal editor of the Kaduna State Ministry of Finance and Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board. He currently serves as the Head of Finance, Kaduna Power Supply Company.

CHRISTOPHER GYUBOK
Head of Finance

Chief Technical Officer: Mr. Umar Ibrahim is a graduate of Electrical Electronic Technology from Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria. He worked at General Hassan Usman Katsina House as the Electrical Maintenance Officer in 1998 and as Maintenance Officer in Kaduna State Government House from 2014-2017. At KAPSCO, he heads the design, installation and maintenance team for Solar-powered Streetlights, as well as the supervision and maintenance of electrical installations in public buildings. He is a member of the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Maimuna Haliru Yahaya is a graduate of Public Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria. She currently oversees all administrative work as the Chief Administrative Officer of KAPSCO.
